Hibnick Appointed Administrator For Schervier Pavilion
Warwick, NY: Leah Cerkvenik, Executive Vice
President for St. Anthony Community Hospital, Mount Alverno Center and
Schervier Pavilion (the Bon Secours Charity Warwick Health Care Campus)
today announced the appointment of Philip Hibnick, as Vice President for
Long Term Care and Administrator for the campus based Schervier Pavilion
Health Care Facility. Hibnick will assume his new responsibilities at
Schervier Pavilion November 29, 2004.
Hibnick comes to Schervier Pavilion from the Florida based Bon Secours
Venice Health Care System where he served as Administrator for its
skilled nursing facility and outpatient rehab and wellness center.
Hibnick brings more that 20 years of broad based health care experience
to the position. Before joining Bon Secours in 2001, Hibnick served as
Chief Executive Officer for Landmann-Jungman Memorial Hospital in
Scotland, South Dakota. Prior to this he was with Integrated Health
Services in Las Vegas, Nevada where, from 1993 through 1998 he advanced
within the organization from Assistant Administrator for its 182-bed
skilled nursing facility to Chief Executive Officer for its Vegas Valley
Convalescent Hospital an 83-bed rehabilitation center and 21-bed
sub-acute hospital. He also served as Chief Executive officer of Nye
Regional Hospital.
“Philip’s excellent leadership skills and proven record of success in
directing complex, quality-oriented long term health care service
operations will be a tremendous asset to us as we shape, enhance and
advance our mission of ‘good help’ in the communities we serve,” said
Cerkvenik.
Hibnick received his Masters of Healthcare Administration and
Informatics from the University of Missouri, Columbia. He is also holds
a Bachelors of Science, Business Management/Human Resources from the
Florida State University where we was also awarded a Masters Certificate
in Gerontology.

and Bon Secours Charity Health System team to continue to respond to the
current and future needs of the communities it serves,” noted Hibnick.
Hibnick and his wife, Katy, live with their children 8 year old Maggie
and 4 month old Erin in Nokomis, Florida and are currently in the
process of relocating to Warwick.
A member of the Bon Secours Charity Health System, The Warwick Health
Care Campus, provides a continuum of care for individuals through its
services and facilities including: St. Anthony Community Hospital, The
St. Anthony Community Hospital Center for Physical Rehabilitation,
Schervier Pavilion Health Care facility, a 120-bed long term skilled
nursing facility and sub-acute rehab, Day-At-A-Time adult day health
program, and Mount Alverno Center adult home with licensed assisted
living services.
