Bon Secours Health System Appoints Katherine
A. Arbuckle, System Chief Financial Officer
Marriottsville, Maryland, November 6, 2006 -- Today, Bon Secours Health System
(BSHSI) announced the appointment of Katherine A. Arbuckle., as chief
financial officer (CFO) for the nine-state system. Arbuckle will assume
her new responsibilities on December 12, 2006. As CFO, Ms. Arbuckle will
function as a strategic partner to the CEO, Richard J. Statuto, managing
the financial operations of the organization and leading managed care
operations and the supply chain. As a member the Executive Management
Team, Arbuckle will help drive system initiatives and lead the Finance
function to achieve operational excellence and provide outstanding
customer service. As well, she will work closely with health system
management, Sponsors and the Board of Directors, as well as local system
leadership, to accomplish financial goals and to achieve maximum
operational efficiency.

Sister Anne M. Lutz, executive vice president for Sponsorship. She
added, “Kathy has significant experience working within faith-based
health care and has a deep knowledge base of what it takes to serve

Rich Statuto stated, “Kathy Arbuckle has a depth of experiences at board
and management levels. The knowledge of Catholic health care and working
within the complexities of a multi-state system she brings to BSHSI will
significantly enhance the achievement of our strategic goals for
pursuing growth, achieving operating excellence and financial
performance.”
