Sr.
Anne Marie Mack, CBS, Named Senior
Vice President of Sponsorship in
Richmond, Virginia
Marriottsville, Maryland, August 1, 2007 --
It was announced by Sister Anne M.
Lutz, CBS, Executive Vice President
for Sponsorship that Sr. Anne Marie
Mack, CBS, has been appointed to
Senior Vice President of Sponsorship
for the Bon Secours Health System
responsible for the Richmond,
Virginia ministry. Effective
September 1, 2007, Sr. Anne Marie
will have primary responsibility in
the areas of Sponsorship, Mission,
and Governance for Richmond. Sr.
Anne Marie will be a member of the
BSHSI Executive Council and will
work closely with Peter Bernard and
the senior leadership in Richmond in
strategic planning, negotiations,
and leadership development, with a
particular focus on the mission
interests of the Sisters of Bon
Secours.
Sr. Anne
Marie currently serves as Vice
President of Mission for St. Mary’s
and Richmond Community hospitals in
Richmond. She also serves on Bon
Secours Ministries, the sponsoring
body for BSHSI. She serves on
several national, state and local
boards and professional
organizations. Prior to Richmond,
Sr. Anne Marie served two terms as
the president of the Sisters of Bon
Secours, USA. She started her career
in nursing at Bon Secours Hospital
in Baltimore, MD and has served
during her 35-year tenure in the
ministries of Baltimore, Grosse
Pointe, and Richmond in both acute
and long term care settings. She was
a member of the Sisters Leadership
Team (formerly known as the
Provincial Council) for 13 years.
Sr. Anne Marie earned her bachelors
degree in nursing from the
University of Delaware and a
master’s degree in nursing from
Wayne State University. She holds
certificates in the areas of aging
and in nursing administration.
